March to Save Meadowbank
In a symbolic gesture to mark the end of the Council’s consultation period on 30th March 2007, over 600 people marched from Meadowbank Stadium to the City Chambers. Read more.

More than 6000 people signed paper petitions and 3000 people signed an online petition asking the Prime Minister to stop the demolition of Meadowbank stadium. Read more.

Great Scottish Walk
A team from the Save Meadowbank Campaign took part in the 2007 Great Scottish Walk to raise money for Cancer Research UK and also show thanks to the organisers of the Walk for supporting the campaign. Read more.
